Creative learning in Pakistan

In Pakistan, 43 million students experience learning poverty and 26 million young people don’t have access to schools. Our partnership with Care Pakistan and Alif Laila Book Bus Society uses creative learning to make a difference

Since 2015, we’ve been working in partnership with Care Pakistan and Alif Laila to develop on-the-ground knowledge and capability in Pakistan. Thanks to this partnership approach, we’ve been able to reach hundreds of schools and learning spaces, improving creative capacity and learning engagement for over 38,000 children.

Our tried and tested programme helps bring creativity and creative learning into classrooms, curriculum, cities and communities, empowering young people and the adults around them. By unleashing the power of creativity together, they begin to imagine how their world can be improved, build problem-solving capability, increase innovation and build confident, positive attitudes to learning.

With this programme now well-established, we’re excited about moving into a new phase. In 2024/25 we’ll support a new ‘Leading for Creative Thinking’ professional learning programme for leaders within Care Pakistan and Alif Laila.
