Abigail D’Amore

Abigail D’Amore (MMus, BMus (Hons)) is a consultant evaluator, facilitator, strategist and programme designer with more than 25 years experience in the community and education music and arts sector. Her expertise is in creating and consulting on participant-centred co-created evaluations and programmes for organisations working with children and young people, particularly those experiencing social injustice. Her passion lies in youth participation and consultation, creative pedagogies and practice, using impact data to drive change, and music and social justice. Current and past clients include: Arts Council England; Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council; City of London Sinfonia; Clore Leadership; Inunity; North East Primary Innovators; Printed Music Licensing Limited; Open Up Music; National Open Youth Orchestra; Sound Connections and more. She is a named consultant for the Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Evidence and Learning Scheme, supporting grant holders with evaluation plans and practices. She was formerly Chief Executive of Musical Futures, which was recognised as one of the Finnish Hundred top global innovations in 2017. She is Chair of Trustees of the Young Voices Foundation, a published author, and a reviewer for the British Journal of Music Education.
