Andy Hodgkinson ‘Andy is an Associate Professor (Teaching) and Deputy Programme Director at the Centre for Educational Leadership in the IOE’s Faculty of Education and Society working with the team responsible for the Centre’s NPQ National Programmes and working in partnership with the national Teaching School Hub system. His research has focused on School Systems, Leadership and school cultures. He also teaches some bespoke sessions at a number of the centre’s postgraduate programmes including CEL’s MBA. Prior to working at UCL Andy was Simon Industrial Fellow at Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester researching system leadership and school systems.He has worked at executive levels with a local authority, sitting on Education, Social Care, LSCB, Funding, Inclusion, SEND and Early Help and Provision executive boards prior to which he was one of the first Executive Headteacher’s in the evolving system leadership landscape. He has taught nearly everything between early years and postgraduate degree level.Andy now supports a number of Multi Academy Trusts in a range of governance roles.'
