Leading for Creative Thinking

Sustained change happens when leaders have the commitment, confidence and skills to bring others on the journey.

Leading for Creative Thinking is a dedicated learning community for school, system and teacher leaders who want to nurture creativity, wherever they are in the world. Our experience tells us that sustained change is only possible when leaders have the commitment, confidence and skills to lead others in creative thinking. Our goal is to bring leaders together in a community that explicitly develops their creative leadership skills, so their teachers and students can flourish in turn.

We co-ordinate regular community events as well as curating the latest and best thinking and thought leadership. We share specially commissioned research and co-design professional learning resources and opportunities, working with our partners: Arts Council of Wales, the Centre for Real-World Learning at the University of Winchester and Emeritus Professor Louise Stoll.

Creativity is crucial. Nurturing creative thinking skills equips leaders to be agile, teachers to flourish and pupils to thrive in an ever-changing world. To do this well, committed creative leadership is vital.
